Navy and Coast Guard personnel also helped in the retrieval and rescue operation, the police official informed.
This was the second major incident in the last 30 days when a passenger ferry on December 18 collided with a Navy boat off Karanja near Mumbai killing at least 15 people.

Police have collected all documents related to the ill-fated ferry, PTI reported. A case has been registered against the Navy craft driver at the Colaba police station.
