Bidhurimanila game, who is contesting the election from Kalkaji against Chief Minister Atishi, clarified that he is not in the race for the top post, amid allegations from AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal.
In a statement, Bidhuri dismissed the chief ministerial speculation as "totally baseless" and reiterated his commitment to serving the people and the BJP. He emphasized that his focus remains on his duty as a dedicated party worker and public servant, expressing gratitude for the party's trust in him over the years. Bidhuri also criticized Kejriwal for spreading "misleading propaganda" about his candidacy.
fruit party slotKejriwal had previously claimed that reliable sources informed him of BJP's plan to announce Bidhuri as its chief ministerial face soon, and even challenged him to a public debate to let the people decide who is better suited to lead. Atishi, the incumbent Chief Minister and BJP’s opponent in Kalkaji, also accused the BJP of planning to elevate Bidhuri, criticizing his language as inappropriate.
The BJP, however, dismissed these allegations as a baseless rumor, with Union Home Minister Amit Shah accusing Kejriwal of trying to manipulate public perception for political gain. Shah rejected Kejriwal's claims, asserting that the decision on BJP's candidate is for the party, not Kejriwal, to make.
